KTV kluby sa v Číne stali najpopulárnejšou a najrozšírenejšou zábavou. Štandardne ide o rezerváciu miestnosti (cena rezervácie je závislá od počtu osôb i veľkosti miestnosti), ktorá je prichystaná na spev.

V miestnosti sa štandardne nachádzajú 2 mikrofóny, sedačka na sedenie, stôl a televízor s možnosťou vyberania hudby. Dá sa povedať, že KTV patrí k súkromným disco klubom, kde však cieľom nie je tanec ale spev.

Piesne je možné pustiť si ako karaoke (bez speváka), no zároveň je možné zaspievať si piesne aj v originály, teda "spievať si do pesničky".
