Štipendium do Číny // Scholarship to China

Len prednedávnom som si uvedomila ako veľmi mi chýba Čína a čínska kultúra. A to až natoľko, že tam nechcem byť len na dva týždne či mesiac vo forme dovolenky, ale o čosi dlhšie. A keďže tento ročník končím svoj bakalársky rok, rozhodla som sa, že vyskúšam svoje šťastie a zapojím sa do programu SAIA.

Just recently I realized how much I miss China and Chinese culture. And as much that I do not want to be there for only two weeks or a month in the form of a holiday, but a little longer. And as this year ends my bachelor's year, I decided to try my luck and join the SAIA program.

SAIA mi v tomto prípade ponúkla ročný študijný pobyt v Číne na základe bilaterálnej dohody, pričom si v prípade záujmu môžem požiadať o predĺženie.

In this case, SAIA offered me an annual study trip to China on the basis of a bilateral agreement, and I can apply for an extension if I can.

Veľkou výhodou tohto programu je práve fakt, že je štipendium hradené nie len ž MŠVVaŠ SR, ale aj prijímajúca strana, čo znamená že poskytovaná podpora je dostačujúca hlavne v prípade, ak je človek ochotný si trocha "utiahnuť opasok". Študent na základe tohto programu teda neplatí za školné, poplatky za ubytovanie a ani za základné študijné materiály. Taktiež je zabezpečené zdravotné poistenie i cestovné náklady do miesta pobytu a späť. Taktiež dostane študent štipendium a to vo výške 100-200€ od SR a 800-1400RMB od Číny, a to mesačne. Treba si však uvedomiť, že veľká časť týchto financií bude použitá najmä na stravu.

The great advantage of this program is that the scholarship is paid not only by the Slovak ministry of education, but also by the receiving part, which means that the provided support is sufficient, especially if a person is willing to "tighten a belt" a little. Therefore, the student does not pay for tuition fees, accommodation fees and basic study materials. There is also health insurance and travel expenses to the place of residence and back. The student also receives a scholarship of 100-200 € from the SR and 800-1400RMB from China, monthly. However, it is important to note that a large part of these finances will be used mainly for food.

Na druhej strane tu stojí fakt, že je oveľa ťažšie a komplikovanejšie zaradiť sa medzi úspešných študentov, ktorí dostanú túto formu štipendia, nakoľko proti vám stoja všetci uchádzači zo Slovenska, nie len z vašej školy ako to je pri Erasme. Navyše je kvóta iba 15 ľudí na celé Slovensko a o svoju "šťastie" bojujete spolu so sinológmi (vedný odbor zaujímajúci sa jazykom, literatúrou, kultúrou, politicko-ekonomickými dejinami Číny). Netreba preto povedať, že Sinológovia sú práve z tohto dôvodu - že samotný vedný odbor sa týka Číny, sú uprednostňovaní.

On the other hand, it is a fact that it is much harder and more complicated to get involved among successful students who receive this form of scholarship, as all candidates from Slovakia, not just your school, as it is with Erasmus, stand against you. In addition, the quota is only 15 people across the whole of Slovakia, and you fight your "happiness" along with sinologists (a leading department of language, literature, culture, political and economic history of China). Therefore, it is not necessary to say that Sinologists are for this reason - that the scientific department itself is China, they are preferred.
Študovať v Číne je možné tak po Slovensky ako aj po anglicky. Všetky potrebné údaje k tomuto programu - aké dokumenty treba predkladať,... sú uvedené na samotnej stránke SAIA. Treba však podotknúť že súčasťou výberu je aj osobný pohovor, ktorý sa bude opierať najmä o životopis a motivačný list.

Studying in China is possible both in Slovak and English. All necessary data for this program - what documents need to be submitted, ... are listed on the SAIA page itself. However, it should be noted that a personal interview is also part of the selection, based in particular on a curriculum vitae and a motivation sheet.



Minulý rok sa do Číny na základe tohto programu hlásilo 25 ľudí, takže mi ostáva len dúfať, že tento rok sa k týmto 15 štastlivcom dostanem aj ja. Verím, že moje ekonomické zameranie a zapálenie pre Čínsku jazyk, kultúru, Čínu a samozrejme Čínske bojové umenie Kung-Fu bude dostatočným predpokladom na prijatie na túto školu.

Last year, 25 people were reported to China as a result of this program, so I only hope that this year I will get to these 15 players too. I believe that my economic focus and fire for Chinese language, culture, China and, of course, Chinese Kung-Fu martial arts will be a good prerequisite for admission to this school.
